ABOUT THE JOURNAL
The Journal of AI-Integrated Medical Sciences (JAIMS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal focused on the evidence-based and responsible application of artificial intelligence (AI) in medicine and healthcare. JAIMS prioritizes clinically meaningful research addressing diagnosis, prognosis, medical imaging, clinical decision support, personalized medicine, generative and multimodal AI, AI safety, implementation, ethics, and healthcare innovation.
The journal welcomes multidisciplinary research across medicine, surgery, dentistry, nursing, allied health, public health, biomedical sciences, and healthcare systems, including clinical trials, observational studies, diagnostic accuracy, validation studies, systematic reviews, and methodological research. Studies using EHRs and secondary datasets are encouraged when methodologically rigorous and clinically relevant.
JAIMS particularly values research addressing AI bias, limitations, safety, reproducibility, transparency, and real-world implementation. Purely computational or engineering studies without substantive medical relevance are outside scope.
Core principle: Medical science first. AI as a scientific specialization. Evidence as the standard.
